Our families have a lot of connections dating back to Jefferson and Clinton Prairie – which seems like just yesterday. ,While I didn’t know your Dad as well as my parents and some of my siblings, I know he was a great man who raised three incredible kids. Facebook Twitter GoogleMary & family, we are so saddened to learn of Charlie’s passing. We missed him when Roger & I we’re visiting a month or so ago having dinner with Mary. Charlie was such a favorite of my Dad, Bob Swan. Charlie came into Frankfort often and visited Dad. Mom & Dad had a picture of Charlie getting a bath in a washtub outside the Jefferson farmhouse (during WWII). He was holding onto each side and perhaps 2 years old! Mom & Dad loved that picture. We had Charlie over for dinner his last winter here in Florida. I loved all of his “Swan” stories about our families. He was loved by many and will be so missed. Love to all of you.

Facebook Twitter GoogleI knew Charlie when he played basketball at Little Jeff! It wasn’t until we were both at Indiana State that we became good friends. On weekends, we would hitch hike home. We would spend one night at his house and the other at mine, then head back to school! We always had great times! I was thankful to have talked to him a few weeks ago, and we reminisced about old times! As you remember Charlie you will find comfort in all the good times you shared and in the memories that live on! Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time!
