Charles K. “Chuck” Meadors, 91, of Frankfort, Ind., died July 6, 2020 at Wesley Manor. He was born May 4, 1929 in Kokomo, Ind. to Charles Elliott & Merle Marie (Kendall) Meadors. He married Audrey L Ridenour on April 20, 1952 at the Hopewell Church and she preceded him in death on July 30, 2018.
Chuck was a 1948 graduate of Frankfort High School. He worked at Nickel Plate, Fraziers Dairy and then Alcoa for 26 years, retiring from there in 1991. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served from January 1951-October 1952 during the Korean War. He attended Hopewell United Methodist Church. Chuck enjoyed working in his woodworking shop but especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday July 10, 2020 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Brent Faulkner will officiate. The family asks that in accordance with guidelines, visitors maintain social distancing and that a mask be worn. Burial with Military Honors will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Frankfort Honor Guard.
