Cecil Randall Mullins, 78 passed away on 10/5/2017 surrounded by family and loved ones at Rosewalk Village in Lafayette, Indiana. He was born April 12, 1939 in Big Stone Gap, Virginia to Beeler and Geneva Phillips Mullins.
He moved to Frankfort Indiana in the 60’s. He worked as a grid caster at Excide Battery until its closure. He was formerly married Annibell Gibson, they had 7 children. He married Vallariette Barbara Foreman on December 5, 1975 and was with her until her death in 1999.
He had four brothers, James (deceased) (Diana) Mullins, Earl (Beatrice) Mullins, Charles Mullins (deceased), Bill (Wanda) Mullins and sister Juanita “Tunie” Freeman.
He enjoyed listening to music and country westerns. He was a very friendly and fun-loving guy and a hard worker. He enjoyed watching NASCAR. He always had a way of making friends everywhere he went.
Visitation and Services
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 9, 2017 at Goodwin Funeral Home, with visiting from 9-11a.m. at the funeral home. He will be buried by his beloved wife Barb in Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort Indiana. He requested any donations be made to Clinton House in Frankfort, Indiana.
Survived by:
seven children, his daughters Mary Helen Harmon(deceased) (Jay), Suzi Collins (Danny), Sheila Breeze (Mouse), Omie Mullins, Billie Jean Moore and sons, Randall Mullins and Eugene Mullins, several grandchildren, Carrie DeStefano, Anthony DeStefano (Amber), Flossie Clifton (David), Russell Collins(deceased), Sue Ann Wesley, Katrina Clark, March Ellen Crecelius-Harvey (Clayton), Stephanie Moore, and several great-grandchildren.
Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers. Cecil was a wonderful man, a true honor and blessing to know and love him.
