Your mom was my dear friend and colleague for 47 years. She put the light in delightful! She was so cheerful, positive and loving! She actually radiated God’s love to everyone she met! She walked the long road of Alzheimer’s disease and cancer with grace and acceptance that was beyond our understanding. She now has a new body and a new mind. Her spirit is free! We will miss her, but her memory lives on in our hearts!

I worked with Cathe first as a teacher’s aide at Mulberry Elementary School, then as a substitute teacher at Clinton Prairie Elementary School. She was a great teacher with innovative ideas for keeping her students’ attention focused on her lessons. I’m sorry for the loss of your mother, grandmother and friend.

Cathe was always a shining light of happiness. I met her in the 60’s at the Draft House in Akron. I was attending Walsh College and fell immediately in Love with her. We were even engaged to be married. I am so pleased and happy to see the life and family she went on to have. A beautiful tribute to her determination and positive attitude. I was blessed to have crossed her path in my life. I never stopped thinking about her and praying for her. RIP Cathe definitely left footprints in the sand that will be there forever.
P.S. She loved to call me by last name “Hay Ovecka”
