Carolyn L. Turner 70, of Frankfort, IN, died at 6:00 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Witham Memorial Hospital, Lebanon, IN. Born September 25, 1941 in Clinton County, IN to the late Gilbert & Pearl (Croy) White. She married Larry W. Turner on June 21, 1959 and he survives. Mrs. Turner was a 1959 graduate of Sugar Creek Township High School. For the past 8 years, she worked at Pearson Education in Lebanon. She had previously worked at Peter Paul Cadbury in Frankfort for 22 years.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 13, 2012 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, February 12th from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Green Lawn Mausoleum. Memorial donations may be made to Susan G. Komen  For The Cure, 3500 DePauw Blvd. Suite 2070, Indianapolis, IN 46268, envelopes will be available.

Husband: Larry W. Turner of Frankfort 1 Daughter: Tambra “Tami” (Jeffrey) Purkey of Noblesville 1 Son: Anthony “Andy” Turner of Frankfort 5 Sisters: Thelma Jean Mulvihill of Griffith, Martha (Dick) Akin of Elkhart, Elizabeth (Bill) Bitner of Kempton, Joyce (Lowell) Lindsey of Winamac and Barbara (Jeff) Dye of Aurora, CO 3 Grandchildren: Taylor, Noelle & Morgan Purkey

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Leon, Robert & Larry “Bill” White.

    Jeff, Tami, Taylor, Noelle and Morgan, we are so sorry to hear of your Mom/Grandmother’s passing! We know this is a really hard time for you all! We really enjoyed always getting a chance to chat with her when she came to Noelle’s games! She will be missed! We are praying for you all!
