Carol Ruth Robinson, 77, longtime Frankfort resident, passed away October 22, 2022 at Signature of Parkwood in Lebanon, Ind. She was born on May 25, 1945 in Lafayette to Harold “Red” and Ruth (Kelley) Foley.
Carol was a 1963 graduate of Lafayette Jeff High School and worked as bookkeeper at Lafayette Bank and Trust and The Farmers Bank. She attended Centenary United Methodist Church with her granddaughters. She was an avid reader and enjoyed going to movies. Carol loved Elvis and LeBron James, but her greatest joy was spending time with her granddaughters.
Memorial donations may be made in Carol’s honor to the Frankfort Community Public Library, 208 E. Clinton Street, Frankfort, IN 46041.
Visitation and Services
A Funeral Service will be held at Noon on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main Street, Frankfort. Pastor Ken Rushing will officiate. Friends may visit from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. A catered reception will be held at Prairie Creek Park immediately following the funeral.

Surviving are her Daughters: Carrie (Mark) Ransom of Lebanon, IN and Kim (Casey Bilger) Robinson of Phoenix, AZ; Granddaughters: Marli Ransom, Janie Ransom, and Isabella Bilger; Brother: Kevin Foley of Lafayette, IN; and Sister: Nancy (Stan) Vanderkleed of Lafayette, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson: Joseph “Joey” Ransom, and her sister: Susan Taylor.
