Byron M. Snodgrass

Byron Max Snodgrass 82 of Michigantown, IN, passed away at 12:48 p.m. December 8, 2010 at Clarian Arnett Hospital, Lafayette, IN. Born July 13, 1928 in Clinton County to the late Guy and Mable Agnes (Moore) Snodgrass. He married Margaret Joanne Brammell on December 20, 1947 and she passed away on May 10, 1994. He then married Donna Faye Walker on September 10, 1994 and she survives. He was a 1946 graduate of Burlington High School. He worked as a conductor for Norfolk and Southern Railroad. He was President of Partners F.O.O.D. Pantry in Michigantown, member of Beard Masonic Lodge and member of Michigantown Christian Church. He enjoyed camping and was a member of the New Mar Camping Club. He also enjoyed traveling and wintering in Florida.

Visitation and Services

Services are 10 a.m. Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, December 10th from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Green Lawn Mausoleum. Donations may be made to the Michigantown Volunteer Fire Department, envelopes will be available.

Wife: Donna Faye Snodgrass of Michigantown Son: Rick Snodgrass (Jill) of Covington Daughter: Susan Khrystal (Dore’ Patlian) of Sarasota Step Daughter: Elaine Brovont (George) of Michigantown Step Sons: Dean Walker (Becky) and Scott Walker both of Michigantown God Given Daughter: Angie Woodruff (Nick) of Kokomo Brothers: Howard Snodgrass (Henrietta) of Frankfort, David Snodgrass (Myra) of Russiaville, Dwight Snodgrass (Netta) of Indianapolis Sisters: Marjorie Dismuke of Marion and Treva Bowers of Middletown Grandchildren: Kalyn Herrmann (Joe), Kyle Snodgrass (Kelly), Sarah Webster (Brian), Lynne Myers (Justin), Noah Brovont (Jessica), Troy Walker, Austin Walker, Amy Walker and Ethan & Meghan Woodruff and 7 Great Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by wife, Joanne, son, Robert Joseph, grandson, Danny Walker, sisters, Mary Fay Alexander and Virginia Yale.
