Bonnie Lou McKinzie 75, Frankfort, IN, died at 11:55 p.m. December 26, 2009 at Wesley Manor, where she had lived the past 4 months. Born March 25, 1934 in Clinton County to William & Alma (Hollen) Pruett. Married Earl ‘Tinker’ McKinzie on May 17, 1952 in Lebanon, IN and he preceded her in death on August 22, 1986. Mrs. McKinzie was a 1952 graduate of Frankfort High School and was a lifelong Clinton County resident. She worked at Mallory’s for 14 years and Zachary for 13 years, retiring in 1997. She was a current member of First Baptist Church and FOP Auxiliary and a former member of First Church of the Nazarene.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Guardian Angel Hospice or Clinton County Cancer Fund, envelopes will be available.

2 Sons: Randy (Colleen) McKinzie of Frankfort and Tim (Jo) McKinzie of Frankfort 1 Daughter: Marianne Douglass of Frankfort 1 Brother: Everett ‘Bud’ (Donna) Pruett of Frankfort 1 Sister: Doris Lamb of Frankfort Special Niece: Linda (Tom) Brakefield Walters of Frankfort 5 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren

    We were so sorry to hear of Aunt Bonnie’s passing. I’m also sorry we can’t be there. I am so sick with cold and fever…just can’t come around all of you. Please know how much Bonnie was loved and she was such a great (and funny) aunt! Love to you all.
