Bobby Joe Catron, 76, of Frankfort, passed away October 17, 2011 at 4:55 p.m. in his home. He was born May 23, 1935 in Rose Hill, VA to Cull and Alberta (Richey) Catron.  He married Neda (Moore) Webster on July 3, 1978 in Tazewell TN, and she passed away on November 26, 2009. Mr. Catron was a truck driver for Gene Ricker from 1974-1978 and Agmax from 1978 until retirement. He lived in Rose Hill, VA and Detroit before moving to Frankfort in 1952. He attended school in Lee County, VA and served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1957 as a truck driver.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 6:30 p.m. Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.   Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, envelopes will be available.

1 Step Son: Wayne (Mickey) Webster of Frankfort, IN  1 Step Daughter: Tammy Kercheval of Rural Frankfort, IN  5 Brothers:      Dave Catron of San Angelo, TX                               Danny Catron of Rose Hill, VA                               Ed Catron of Weber City, VA                               Frank Catron of San Angelo, TX                               Kenneth Catron of Rose Hill, VA   2 Sisters: Dora Ann Sumpter of Pennington Gap, VA                       Wilma Wilder of Rochelle, IL  6 Grandchildren: Crystal, Michael, Ashlee, Rachael, Maci, and Trevor.  8 Great Grandchildren: Kiley, Kayla, Rayce, Delaney, Corbin, Branson, Hunter, and Savannah.

Preceded by:

He was preceded in death by Step Son, John Webster, 3 brothers: Jessie, Ronnie, and James, and 1 sister: Mildred.
