Billie Joyce Spears, 77, of Burkesville, Kentucky, formerly of Frankfort, Ind., died November 27, 2019 in Merrillville, Indiana.   She was born October 14, 1942 in London, Kentucky to Willie & Dorothy (Smallwood) Gross.

Billie enjoyed shopping, traveling, watching sports and NASCAR and spending time with her grandchildren.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Goodwin Funeral Home 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral Celebration will begin at 11 a.m. following visitation at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery.

Survived by:

Son: Carl (Lupe) Roberts of Templeton, IN, Companion: Roy Scott of Burkesville, KY, 8 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren

Preceded by:

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Tammie Brock, brother, Wayne Gross, and sister Betty Saylor.

    To my dearest friend, from long ago. One day we will be together again and forever. We have been through a lot together. I can not express how lonesome this world will be without you, but God has you in his hands. Love you so much.
