Betty Snyder, beloved aunt, was such a special person. She was a wonderful mother and wife. She always welcome people into her home and did so much for her church when she live close to Muncie. I loved her so much. After Uncle Lemoine passed away, my husband and I would go to Muncie and take her out to dinner. Wonderful times together. After my husband passed away, Aunt Betty and I would meet in Anderson for lunch. We had a really close family bond. We had a family get together 5 years ago in Frankfort. She planned it and wanted all of us to see each other. I am so thankful for that time. I am at a loss for words. She is the last in the brothers and sisters in the Richey line. Aunt Betty, rest well in Heaven. I will never forget you. Your loving niece, Debbie.

Facebook Twitter GoogleBetty loved to come back to her hometown of Michigantown, IN and come to the school. During her school years, she lived across the street from the school and was involved in everything. She was a cheerleader and at her 70th class reunion said this was her most memorable thing about school. She helped lead the school songs at the MHS Alumni. She was a Gander cheerleader all her life and will be missed.

Facebook Twitter GoogleI am so very sorry for your loss. I always wondered what had become of Betty. She used to take my Aunt Ellen Snider to church. My Aunt lived on the road that went by the old Blackford Co Drive Inn. I met your Mother while working at Kohl’s. She was so sweet. I had told her about my Aunt Ellen’s Sister who lives in Phoenix. When your Mother went for a visit…she actually met my Aunt Betty Whaley at breakfast either at the Jack N The Box or McDonalds. My Aunt told her that her dress was pretty and they got to talking (as us girls do) and they came to know that your Mother now knew the 2 sisters. Your Mother came back home and came into Kohl’s with the Biggest smile Ever…and wanted to share that with me. She had told me that her daughter had wanted her to move to AZ. She was precious. I loved her very much. You were very Blessed to have had her for your Mother, and so was I, just knowing her. God Bless all of you. I lost my Mother almost 3 yrs ago and I know how hard it can be. May God be with You.
