Bernard F. “Bernie” Wright

Bernard ‘Bernie’ F. Wright 82 of Frankfort, IN, died at 9:50 p.m. June 6, 2012 at Wesley Manor. Born March 26, 1930 in Tell City, IN to Frank & Amelia (Shertsinger) Wright. He married Norma East and she preceded him in death. He then married Sue Marshall on April 11, 1985 in Covington, KY and she survives. Mr. Wright moved to Frankfort in 1936 and was a graduate of Frankfort High School. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in the Korean War. Mr. Wright was owner/operator of B.F. Wright Masonry, working for 45 years and retiring in 1993. He was a member of the American Legion in Key West, FL.

Visitation and Services

Private family services were held. Entombment was in Green Lawn Mausoleum. Memorial donations may be made to Clinton County Cancer Fund. Goodwin Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Wife: Sue Wright of Frankfort 3 Sons: Ty (Saretha) Wright of Frankfort, Rodney (Rosie) Wright of Frankfort and Tom (Wanda) Wright of Frankfort 2 Step Sons: Brad Marshall of Frankfort and Joe (Heather) Marshall of Indianapolis Sister: Hilda Kleaving of Tell City 5 Grandchildren: Dillon, Damon and Daren Wright and Chris and Carly Marshall Great Grandchildren: Samantha, Taylor and Max Smith and Rich & Karen Smith

He was preceded in death by daughter, Belinda Brooks, brothers, Armean Wright, Gilbert Wright, Osura Wright and a sister, Mildred.
