Facebook Twitter GoogleTruly sorry for your loss. Barry was such a great guy. I remember the first time I met him, my Dad took me over to see his dragster. Then many years later we got to hang out and go places with our hot rods. I remember sitting with Barry under our canopy, either staying dry from the rain or shelter from the blazing sun. Had lots of good times with Barry. He’ll be missed.

Facebook Twitter GoogleNancy and family, so sorry for your loss. The world lost one of the best ones but the heavens gain one. It was my honor to know both Barry and Buren. To work with him on his street rods, at least the last two, was some of the best times ever at my shop. To see his face lite up when he could finally turn the key and be off and running was the best, I was so humbled to be asked to be part of that. Thanks again for those times. Gone but never forgotten.

Facebook Twitter GoogleBarry was truly one of the “good guys”! Although a year younger, I began a friendship with Barry that started in Little League. He was always our catcher, and a damn good one! I don’t believe I ever missed a Class of ’64 reunion, thanks to High School sweetheart and my wife of 51-years, Phyllis Good; it was great to see Barry there (sometimes briefly) and to talk about the fun times we had growing up in Frankfort.
Rest in Peace, my friend…you are Home now! Bless you too, Nancy

Facebook Twitter GoogleDearest Nancy & Rhett-
Sometimes words just fail, this is one of those times. I think of the many years we all have been friends, more like family really. The miles between us have never gotten in the way of our closeness. That we can’t be with you right now Nancy, due to social distancing, to comfort and hug you breaks our heart. Please know that we are with you and Rhett in spirit and prayer every single day. I do smile when I think of Barry’s immediate acceptance of my Jimmy. So heartwarming to both of us, but that’s just who he was. His love of music defined him and we won’t ever be able to hear certain tunes without thinking of him and countless other times as well. He was a good an loyal friend whose attributes cannot all be mentioned in this space. We’ll close by saying thank you Nancy for taking such good care of our friend always and that our lives were improved greatly just by knowing Barry. We will remember him and his smile always.
With Sympathy, Blessings and our Love,
Maura & Jimmy Felts
