Barbara Louise Wells 79 of Frankfort, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Indiana University Hospital in Frankfort.  She was born on June 18, 1938 in Hopkinsville, KY to Walter & Katie E. (Davis) Wells.  Barbara worked for Stevenson’s Cleaners in Frankfort for over 25 years.  She lived most of her life in Frankfort and was a 1956 graduate of Frankfort High School.

Visitation and Services

Per Barbara’s wishes no public services are being planned. The Goodwin Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements and services. Memorials in her honor may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Sister: Wanda Sweeney of Monticello, IN, 4 Grandchildren: Carrie Land of Frankfort, Kayla Espinoza of Frankfort, Brian Dukes of Muncie and Jon Dukes of Muncie

Preceded by:

She was preceded in death by 2 Sons: William Brian Dukes and Jerry Allen Dukes, a daughter: Sherri Louise Espey along with 8 Brothers and 4 Sisters.

    To the family of Louise Wells, especially Wanda, so sorry for your loss. We lost our son-in-law, Doug Hyde, Debby’s husband on Dec. 23. Son Brian, his wife Sam, Bill & I are driving down to Arkansas Fri. for his funeral Sat. Doug lost his year-long battle with pancreatic cancer. Hoping you are doing OK, Wanda. I know you will miss Louise.
