Barbara Lou Easterly Goldsberry 86, of Frankfort, IN, died at 3:46 a.m. February 7, 2013 at St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital. Born July 10, 1926 in Frankfort, IN to Mike & Edith D. (Ely) Easterly Sr. Barbara was a 1945 graduate of Frankfort High School and a 1946 graduate of Huffers Beauty Academy. A beautician, she worked for Eileen Willoughby for 13 years, owned and operated Modern Beauty Shop in Frankfort for 35 years, Wright Cut for 3 years and Victory Salon. She semi-retired in 1993 after 53 years. She was a member of the Woodside Christian Church, was first president of C.C. Hairdressers, organized in 1972, Delta Sigma Kappa (Gamma Chapter), American Legion Auxiliary, Women of the Moose and National Hairdressers Association.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, February 9th from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Woodside Christian Church.

Survived by:

Nephew: Miller ‘Mike’ Easterly III of Frankfort, 3 Nieces: Debra Croy of Linden, Judy (Doug) DeVillez of Scipio, IN and Pamela Royer of Frankfort, Life Family Friend: Christine Padgett of Frankfort. She is survived by several other nieces, nephews.

Preceded by:

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Naomi Duncan and brother, Miller Easterly Jr.
