Audrey LaVaughn Meadors, 86, of Frankfort, Ind. passed July 30, 2018 at Wesley Manor Retirement Community. She was born on November 16, 1931 in Clinton County to Edd and Mabel (Laughner) Ridenour. She married Charles K. Meadors on April 20, 1952 in Hopewell Church, Frankfort and he survives.
Audrey grew up attending Hopewell United Methodist Church. She was a 1949 graduate of Michigantown High School. She was the main cook at Clinton Central for 18 years and retired from there. She enjoyed being outside doing gardening and yard work. She loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Indiana with envelopes available at the funeral home.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main Street, Frankfort. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Frankfort.

Surviving family includes her Husband: Charles K. Meadors of Frankfort; Son: Rick Meadors of Kokomo; Daughter: Kathy Johnson of Frankfort; Sister: Irene Richey of Frankfort; Grandchildren: Paul (Sujung Kim) Johnson, Addy (Brent) Faulkner, Shalee Meadors, Joe (Tami) Cass, and Lacy Cass; and 7 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers: Garland, Harley, and Reldo Ridenour, and 1 sister: Maxine Sproal.
