Annie Laurie Douglas 92, a former Scircleville resident, died at 7 a.m. August 17, 2014 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw, IN. Born January 18, 1922 in Beaumont, Kentucky to Guy L & Lillian C. (Williams) Knipp. She married Paul R. Douglas on December 15, 1940 and he preceded her in death on September 6, 2009. Mrs. Douglas was a 1940 graduate of Frankfort High School. A homemaker, she also was a Post Master in Scircleville. She was a member of the Scircleville Methodist Church and the Methodist WSCS.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be Friday, August 22, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 23rd at the funeral home. Burial will be in Geetingsville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Daughter: Mrs. Pauletta (James J.) Simmons of Leesburg, Daughter-in-Law: Karen (Mike) Douglas-McCroskey of Lafayette, 6 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
Preceded by:
a son, Ray L. Douglas and 2 brothers.
