Anna D. Shupe, 93, of Frankfort, died at 4:25 p.m. September 3, 2020 at I.U. Arnett Hospital. She was born January 12, 1927 in Middletown, PA to Francis & Estelle (Gerber) Douglass. She married Kay Shupe and he preceded her in death.
Anna received her Bachelors degree from Westchester College in PA and her Masters degree from I.U. Northwest. She had taught English and Music, was a reading consultant for McGraw/Hill and was also a real estate agent. Anna was of the Presbyterian Faith and had recently attended church at Wesley Manor.
Visitation and Services
No funeral services are planned. Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort and Clinton County Crematory are assisting the family with arrangements.

Daughter: Susan M. Shupe of Lafayette, Son: Robert (Companion Shelley Gaudia) Shupe of Eugene, OR, 3 Grandchildren: Anna (Jason) Westmoreland, Laura (Jeremy) Bass and Jeanette Perry and 8 Great Grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, JoAnn Stanley.
We have many fond memories of Anna over the years: playing bridge (one of her favorite activities); attending the Indianapolis POPS, attending the Frankfort library concerts and Civic theater, and the Red Barn performances; water exercise at the Y; PEO activities; performing with the Wesley Manor String-A-Longs; an Open House sitter. She was involved with Wesley Manor and Frankfort activities in so many ways. She and Kay were dear friends and hospitable neighbors. She and Kay will be greatly missed.
