Andrew Ryan Bell, 30, of Lafayette, Ind., died September 14, 2023 at Eskenazi Hospital, Indianapolis.  Born October 19, 1992 to Rocky & Stella (Salinas) Bell.  He married Lynley Eve Vanderark on December 30, 2017 and she survives.

Andrew was a 2011 graduate of Frankfort High School and had lived in Frankfort, an was currently building his forever home in Delphi.  He was Team Leader at Subaru in the test bench on the A-line in the engine shop.  Andrew was a member of the Connecting Point Church. He enjoyed playing pool, was gun enthusiast, an IU fan, loved working with this hands and tools and hanging with his family.  Andrew never knew a stranger, would help anyone regardless of the situation, but most of all, his wife and sons meant the world to him.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2023 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Alan Downing will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to the Bell family for the benefit of his children.

Wife: Lynley Bell of Lafayette, Sons: Parker Ryan Bell and Asher Glenn Bell of Lafayette, Father: Rocky Bell of Frankfort, Brothers: Mike (Lizz) Bell of Frankfort, Josh (Tia) Bell of Frankfort, Jeramy (Shaylee Ramirez) Bell of Frankfort, Ashyton Bell of Frankfort, Sisters: Amanda (Richard) Wallsmith of Frankfort, Addyson Bell of Frankfort, Mother-in-law: Donna Vanderark, Sisters-in-law: Chelsea (Blair) Todd and Ashby (Paul) Vandokkenburg, Brother-in-law: Josh (Tanya) Vanderark, Grandparents: Stanley & Carol Duckworth, Kevin & Jane Orchard and Rudy & Emma Salinas. Several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends also survive

    Such a WONDERFUL young man that I have watched grow up! Andrew always had a smile on his face and was a great father and husband! Fly high Andrew , we love you and miss you! To the whole Bell family, you are in my thoughts and prayers!

    Been knowin the hole family for many yrs & cldnt ask for better people !!! Andrew always had a smile on his face & never ever failed to say hello to me when I wld see him out & about !!! Thinkin of the hole family at this time !! Here if ANY of Y’ALL need anything!!!

    I’m so very sorry for your loss. I first met Andrew in 2012 while working at Federal Mogul. He was an oddball but so friendly. I am sad that his life was so short but I’m so thankful he got to live his life full, found someone to share it with and got to make a family of his own. He will be missed by many!

    Worked with Andrew for the past few years..
    Great guy. Would give the shirt off his back to anybody. So charismatic with the heart of gold and beyond humble with an admirable obsession with his wife and boys. On his worst days he will let you know he’s having a bad day but with a smile on his face, and would still bust out a joke and try to make you laugh.
    I will forever miss coming into work and seeing his face (usually his ball cap first) … him calling me Leslie Ann when I walk in, stopping for a hello followed with “hey you got something on your shirt.. oh got you!” He always did that! I always fell for it. My condolences to his wife and as he always called his boys his best friends also extended family. Thoughts and prayers to his family

    I remember Andrew well from my days as a Suncrest lunch lady. He was such a lovely young boy. So polite and always had the cutest smile. I haven’t seen him in many years and I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My deepest sympathy to his family.

    Andrew was one of my favorite humans. He was always so positive and a fellow Hoosiers fan in boiler country. Recently, he helped me rip all the granite out of my kitchen and even hauled it away. My family loved his presence as he was always so polite. Rest easy my friend! Your positivity is already missed!

    Andrew was such a great person who never had anything bad to say about anyone. He was a bright light in this world. I always enjoyed our conversations and how we would joke with each other. His passion for life and what he stood for were unmatched. He will truly be missed by so many. My heart and prayers go out for his loved ones. Godspeed my friend!

    I’m so sorry and saddened for your loss. I grew up and went through school with Andrew. We also bowled together a lot our senior year of high school.     We are blessed we got to know you, for my sister to have joined your family! For all the fun, joyful times you played basketball with the boys, for your spunk, for Mike’s entire family that gave us the memories we will always cherish with you in them! Thank you for being so kind hearted! The girls said how sweet you were, how fun, how you made them laugh, and that you are someone they’ll never forget! Our hearts break for your family, you, and a life ended to early! We pray that you are at peace, that you watch over all of them, that your boys, and wife will be ok!
