Andrea Jayne Pearcy, 51, of Indianapolis, died June 29, 2016, at Meridian Nursing and Rehab surrounded by family. She was born May 14, 1965 in Frankfort, the daughter of L. Neal and the late Barbara “Bobbie” (Palmer) Pearcy. Ms. Pearcy was profoundly disabled mentally and physically, due to the German measles contracted during pregnancy. Andi was surrounded by residents and staff at Meridian Nursing and Rehab, who loved her like a daughter. Despite the challenges of raising her, Andi was a light of love, an angel who taught those around her the meaning of compassion. Her long life is a testament to the loving care of her parents and the staff of her nursing home. Her favorite things were babies, soda, mirrors she could kiss, and ice cream. She smiled at everyone and would usually find a way to con them into getting her a Pepsi or cookie. She loved opening presents, not for the gift, but for the destruction of wrapping paper. She would always blow you a kiss goodbye. Heaven for Andi was having her scalp scratched.

Neal and family,
I would like to extend my sympathy, and compliment you and Bobbie for your many years of commitment. I speak on behalf of Linda who is not here to do so. May you find happiness in the days to come with the blessings you have.
Sincerely,

How very thoughtful of you to leave a Rembrance to honor “our” Andi. Bobbie and Linda were good “homemaker” friends when all our children were young. I will never forget some of their stories.
We both have blessings in spite of the love ones we have lost. Keep the Faith.
Neal and our Family.
