Amber D. Long 32, of Frankfort, Ind., died June 7, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.  Born May 17, 1984 in Somerset, KY to Walter W. & Lillian (Hall) Long.  Amber attended Frankfort Schools.  She enjoyed her family, friends and especially her daughters, Liyla Ann and Cindy Lynn.  Amber was very special to all of her aunts and uncles.

Visitation and Services

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home, Frankfort, Ind. Friends may visit from 12 Noon until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Long family to assist with final expenses.

Survived by:

Parents: Walter & Lillian Long of rural Frankfort, 2 Daughters: Liyla Ann Winchester & Cindy Lynn Winchester both of Frankfort, 2 Sisters: Leslie Sanchez of Frankfort and Crystal Long of Frankfort.

    No words can express the sorrow and pain I know all of you are going through. As my mother told me when my sister passed away many years ago, “No parent should bury their child”. Walt, Lynn, we will be there with you in mind and spirit today as you grieve. We are so very sorry for your loss. “Nothing you love is lost. Not really.
