Allan J. Hodgen, 81, of Lebanon, Ind. died March 20, 2020 at Homewood in Lebanon. He was born July 26, 1938 in Frankfort, Ind to John H. & Edith E. (Graham) Hodgen. He was married to Shirley Hiatt for 54 wonderful years and they were married on August 8, 1965 and she survives.
Allan was a 1956 graduate of Frankfort High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a farmer, tool & die, mold maker and a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Lebanon Christian Church. Allan enjoyed farming, drag racing, tandem tractors, and was a veracious reader.

Visitation and Services
Private family services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2020 at Goodwin Funeral Home., 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Kurt Alexander will officiate. Burial will be in Buntin Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Parkinson’s Research.

Shirley, I am so sorry for your loss. Allan was such a caring person. I remember how he kept in touch with my sister when she was in the nursing home.
