Aldine L. Finney 102, of Frankfort, died at 4:37 a.m. Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Wesley Manor. Born October 20, 1910 in Frankfort, IN to John & Katie (Watson) Kemper. Her marriages were to Charles ‘Jack’ Woodworth, Harley Allison. She then married W. Nolan Finney on December 4, 1990 and he preceded her in death on March 1, 2005. Aldine was a 1929 graduate of Frankfort High School and was a lifelong Frankfort resident. She was an operator for Indiana Bell Telephone Company for 38 years, retiring in 1968. She was a member of the First Christian Church, also attended Woodside Christian Church and was a member of Telephone Pioneers.
Visitation and Services
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Donations in memory of Aldine may be made to Paul Phillippe Resource Center, Woodside Christian Church or First Christian Church.
