Facebook Twitter GoogleMy condolences to Alberta’s family. I have many pleasant memories of Alberta as my neighbor on Brightwood Drive and after our departures from that neighborhood, we continued to stay in touch each year at Christmas. She was a sweet woman who was always kind to me. May she rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Alberta. She was such a big influence in my life as one of the neighborhood kids that looked to her as a second mom. She was always so caring and compassionate. Brightwood Drive memories will always include her smiling face. May God be with you all and may she rest in peace.

We are thinking of you all and remembering Alberta as the loving neighbor, friend and caregiver for Doug, while we lived on Brightwood Drive. She was a very special person. We remember the many play times Doug had with you at your home during those years. You all were a special part of our lives and she will always be remembered for the love she poured into our lives.

Sorry that we were out of town and missed the calling and funeral for your Mom & grandma. We knew that she had not been well. I know that it is a hard loss, but think that she is in a lot better place, up there with all the other McQuern relatives, and you know there was a glorious reunion, with all of them!! Bob is the grandson of Ira McQuern and nephew of Betty Burden who was near your Mom’s age and were buddies.
Best wishes to all!!!
