Aileen M. Ford, 98, of Frankfort, died May 16, 2018 at her home, with her family at her side. Born September 18, 1919 in Detroit, Michigan to Daniel & Mary (O’Keefe) Delaney.
Aileen was graduated by Loyola University of Chicago, School of Nursing. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Aileen was 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps during WWII. She was a nurse for 26 years at the Clinton County Hospital. Aileen was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, was active in the Ladies of Charity and Alter & Rosary Society at the church and was a member of the Red Hat Club. She was always helping others and was a longtime volunteer at the Paul Phillippe Resource Center, which she and her sister Kay Metzger helped organize and start. She cherished spending time with family, especially her daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation and Services
Family services will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018, at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Father Dominic Young will officiate. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Honors Section of Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Daughter: Judith Ann Landes of Frankfort, Ind., 2 Grandsons: Jeremy (Tonya) Landes of Center Point, Ind.and Trent Landes of Chicago, Ill., 2 Granddaughters: Linsey Dillingham of Frankfort, Ind. and Kristie (Bryan) Stevens of Frankfort, Ind., 1 Sister: Norinne Delaney of Chicago, Ill., and 10 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by siblings, Lucille Keating, Tom Delaney, Mary Springer, Kathryn ‘Kay’ Metzger and a son Richard Ford Jr.
