Facebook Twitter GoogleTo express what this lady Ada Batman meant to my life is not possible. Her selfless example in my life and my mothers will only be known in heaven. She lead ladies without being in the lime light made it look like nothing.
Didn’t realize what a load she carried till she stepped down it took a whole committee to do it and not as well. She now has seen Jesus and her reward which I’m sure is a great and well deserved reward.

Facebook Twitter GoogleI am reminded of the words of the song, “Does Jesus Care”. Does Jesus care when I say Good-bye to the dearest on earth to me, And my sad heart aches Till it nearly breaks? Is it aught to him? Does he care? “Oh yes, He cares; I know he cares! His heart is touched with my grief. When the days are weary, The long nights dreary, I know my Savior cares.
What a scene that must have been when all Heaven rejoiced as they welcomed Ada to her eternal Home. The song that she had sang here on earth “Face to Face”, became a reality as she looked upon the face of her Savior, Jesus Christ the one whom she loved and had faithfully served while here on earth. Ernest and family, we will be praying for you. Your Friend from Union Chapel Days. Paul amills

I was scared, I said where will I live, Ada said your staying with us!! I adopted the Batman’s for a short but meaningful time in this boys life! I’m gonna miss you so much. How’s Kent doing these days Ada?

Facebook Twitter GoogleAlthough your mother is no longer with us herself, she is most definitely with us. At the church today, she was with us in her children’s hearts. It was great seeing Kevin and Beth, as always, and equally nice meeting their brothers, sister and in-laws. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Facebook Twitter GoogleRev. Batman,
My thoughts are with you and your family. Losing our loved ones is never easy. My dad, Robert Hine, died last October, so now Mom and Dad are together. As you know my mother was raised across the street from the Kokomo church so that church has a special place in our hearts. Thank you for all your years of service to church and families. May God’s presence surround you even more now.

Facebook Twitter GoogleI am sorry about the loss of your dear loved one. Today I am remembering an incident that happened many years ago when we
were in district leadership. I was in a situation that I did not feel comfortable with, and at that moment Ada came near with
the gift of her presence. The fragrance of that moment still lingers, and today I am thanking God that Ada crossed my path.
Sincerely, Roberta Hughes
