On February 27, 2022, Janet June Culross passed away peacefully in Laramie, Wyoming, at the age of 85.   Janet was born March 13, 1936 in Frankfort, Indiana, to Milroy and Maidie June (Huffer) Brammell.

Janet, a lifelong resident of Frankfort, was a loving wife and mother.

Visitation and Services

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2022 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 1 until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Whiteman Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Laramie, 1754 Centennial Dr, Laramie, WY 82070.

Survived by:

her devoted husband of 67 years, Bill Culross; their 4 children, Cindy McArdle, Andrea (Joe) Trimarco, Elaine (Scott) Skurzewski, and Chris (Kim) Culross; and their 5 grandchildren, Kati and Kelsey McArdle, Joey and Joshua Trimarco, and Alyssa Skurzewski.

Preceded by:

her parents; her 5 brothers, Reuben, Donald, Harold, Paul, and Robert Brammell; her 4 sisters, Dorothy Hodgen, Ruth Bible, Thelma Moon, and Betty Graham; and her son-in-law, Glenn McArdle.

    I will always recall her as a good neighbor who loved her dog. So sad to have her gone from our neighborhood and lives. She surely must have enjoyed her time with family in Wyoming.

    Elaine and family may your memories of your mother be sweet. I can her hear her sense of wit, laughter, and see her smile, she was always very kind to me. So sorry for your loss.

    Remember working with Janet at Wesley Manor she was a sitter and I was a QMA I also work with her daughter. Had wondered what happen to both of them. I am saddened to read of her passing, she was a very sweet lady. My condolences to the family. May she rest in peace and the family able to move forward with the trails ahead of them.

    Janet was my grandma’s caretaker for years. She was so kind and loving to her and my grandma loved her. Sending prayers and peace to her family. She earned her stars in her crown and is resting is Heaven. God bless her.
