Facebook Twitter GoogleMichael,
I’m so sorry to learn of your father’s passing. I was privileged to be introduced to him (and you) while visiting the Downtown Diner on Monday mornings.
I really enjoyed visiting his garage and admiring his ‘48 Ford! I took a number of pictures of it taking note of the placement of the trim and interior design.
Please express our sympathy to your sister, as well. My wife, Frances, worked with her at Southside and Blue Ridge. I also worked with Kevin for a number of years out at Frito-Lay.
I regret that we won’t be able to attend the funeral as we are currently in the Dallas area visiting with our daughter and grandchildren.
I will miss seeing and chatting with your dad.
Sincerely, Steve Burkhalter
