Corbin Crick, 14, of Michigantown, died August 27, 2024.  He was born December 13, 2009 in Frankfort, Ind. to Brian K. Crick and Sherry Ann Vann.  Corbin was a ninth grader at Clinton Central.  He enjoyed playing football, fishing, video games, shooting guns with Kenny and four wheeling.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 10 a.m. -1 p.m. Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Jeremy Turner officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Jaden Quick Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Survived by:

Sister: Ella Houston of rural Frankfort, Grandmother: Kathryn (Kenny Waters) Crick of Kirklin, Step-Grandmother: Bridget Gunn of Kirklin, Aunts: Kim (James) Quick of Kirklin, Kelli (Danny) Carr of Michigantown, Uncle: Bradley (Renee) Crick of Mulberry, and several cousins also survive.

Preceded by:

his father, Brian Crick. grandfather, Cletis Crick, and cousin Jaden Quick.

    There are no words to describe the sorrow and pain we feel for your loss, Corbin grabbed our heartstrings, the day we met him. Our grandson was crazy about him, they always had a blast when they were together.
    He will be greatly missed.

    Corbin was always a good friend to me and to everyone else he talked to, it’s devastating to know that one day we where hanging out walking around Michigantown then two days later your gone, but I know your looking down at me and all your loved ones until we all meet you again.

    Corbin was at my house just about every day to see if my son could play. They loved playing basketball and riding bikes together. I will forever miss looking out the window and seeing them playing together. We love you Corbin and we miss you deeply.

    I’m very sorry for your loss of Corbin and his dad, I’m heartbroken, my soul hurts, Corbin was my Grandson too, I loved the boy, it’s tragic. May he R.I.P. I’m his Grandma Beverly Vann.

    My Little Buddy Corbin…. RIP I am going to miss you so much. Clinton Central school will never be the same with out you. You could take the most boring ordinary day and turning it into a beacon of light that just radiate the whole classroom, with your your silly goofy personality, your random genius comments, that you would make all up in a split of a secant, in class. I’m going to miss how you have the knack of making everybody around you smile and laugh. Most of all I am going to miss your random hugs and your sweet kind smile and your Loving heart. All the way back in your early Elementary school, with Collin, I have always thought of you as another son to me, and you will always will be. I Love Forever Corbin, until we meet again in Heaven one day, Be Good My Son! Do not cause God and the angels too much trouble!

    We will miss you man, you were always a good friend to me and everyone. You were around, we were just hanging out at Max’s house and a couple days later your gone. Words can’t even describe how much you will be missed.

    For a time he lived in our neighborhood and we would spend time talking to Corbin about just fun kid stuff. Our hearts will remember Corbin for being a kind and caring person that touched many lives. He did ours….

    We miss you so much. Corbin was a good friend and was always there for me. He always found a way to make someone laugh and always had a smile on his face. I pray for his family in this rough time. Gone but not forgotten.

    I’m here with my friend George right at the moment. We were friends with him since he was 6, my mother Holly West used to babysit him, I always remembered when he would come to our house after getting in trouble and my mother making him stand in the corner.

    I miss you so much Corbin you were and will always be my best friend. Life feel’s so empty without you here. I know you’re in a better place and one day I’ll see you again but it’s killing me we can’t be face to face, I miss my best friend. I love you so much Corbin always and forever.

    He was my best friend maybe even more, we had a lot of good times together. I wish him and his family the best, I hope they can get through this tough time as one of our friends has passed and moved on to a better place, he will still live on in our hearts.
