Alex M. Schultz, 17, of rural Michigantown, Ind., died December 28, 2023.  He was born February 16, 2006 in Carmel, Ind. to Russell D. & Allison (Neal) Schultz.

Alex was a senior at Clinton Central High School and was a member of the wrestling team. He was a 4-H Member, showing hogs.  He also raised cows with his brother, Will.  Alex loved farming with his family, was known for his sense of humor, and the ability to make people laugh.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort, Ind. Funeral service will take place at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Hopewell Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Alex can be made to the Clinton Central Wrestling Club, 815 N State Road 29, Michigantown, IN 46057.

    I am so sorry to hear of Alex’s passing . He will always be remembered as the funny little kid that tagged along to all of our cheer competitions and tumbling. I am beyond heart broken to hear this. Praying for peace and comfort during this time.

    Allie and Rusty, our hearts break for you! My memory of Alex is as a little kid at cheer practices. Best memory is when he was about 8 and the girls tried him out as a flyer and he did it perfectly on the first try. Our heartfelt prayers are with you all.

    I am so very sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. It just isn’t right for you child to pass on before you. I pray that the Lord, Jesus Christ, will hold you and keep you and comfort as much of your pain and sorrow as is possible. The most important consolation for you is that Alex is safe in the arms of the Heavenly Father and will never have a pain or heartbreak or need and some sweet day when the time comes, you will meet again in the Kingdom of Heaven.
    Loving thoughts for all of Alex’s family and friends. Thankfulness to the Heavenly Father that he allowed everyone the opportunity and pleasure to know Alex and love him for the 17 years here on this earth.

    So sorry about your loss, My wife, Sandra Tishner used to watch Alex and Will when Lisa had Dr. appointments. Always called him baby Alex. Our grandson and granddaughter were close friends until they went to Western. Tanner and Kennedy send their prayers.
