Thomas Harland “Tom” Hoyer, 80, of Frankfort died January 8, 2023 at I.U. Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette, Ind. He was born October 1, 1942 in Frankfort, Ind to the late Guy E. & Frances A. (Harland) Hoyer. He married Phyllis Wright on September 3, 1966 and she survives.
Tom was a 1960 graduate of Frankfort High School and a lifelong Frankfort resident. He was a member of the Army National Guard from 1965-1967. He had worked at Chrysler in Kokomo for 37 years, retiring in 1997. Tom was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church and attended the Frankfort First Christian Church. He was also a member of NRA, UAW Local 685, Frankfort Athletic Booster Club, Battleground Saddle Club, and IQHA. Tom enjoyed sports, I.U. basketball and football, a Purdue football fan and was an avid Frankfort Hot Dog fan. He was a collector of guns, knives, coins, arrowheads and Kentucky Derby commemorative glass.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 10-12 Noon on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Entombment will be in Green Lawn Mausoleum.

Wife: Phyllis Hoyer of Frankfort, Son: Christopher Hoyer of Frankfort, Daughter: Megan Hoyer of Frankfort, 4 Grandchildren: Thomas Meyer, Georgia Meyer, Jackson Hoyer and Riley Hale all of Frankfort and Brother: William (Cindy) Hoyer of Frankfort.
