Norma J. Seals, 81, of Frankfort, died April 20, 2022 at her home.  She was born April 14, 1941 in Ewing, Virginia to Jesse & Zona Mae (Hatfield) Ayers.  She married Shulus Daniel Seals on December 5, 1957 in Tazwell, Tenn. And he preceded her in death on June 25, 2009.

Norma attended Thomas Walker High School.  She had worked at Mallory Controls for 42 years, retiring in 2009.  Norma enjoys gardening, reading, traveling, helping people and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 300 W. Washington St., Frankfort, IN 46041 or the Frankfort Public Library, 208 W. Clinton St., Frankfort, IN 46041, envelopes will be available

Survived by:

2 daughters: Judy Mathews of Frankfort, Wanda Deckard of Frankfort, son: Rick (Kim) Seals of Tipton, sister: Geneva Meadows of Alabama, 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Preceded by:

In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Don, Clifton and Todd Ayers, nephew, Randy Ayers and uncle, Bob Hatfield.

    Sorry for your loss, Norma was a long friend of my cousin Barb where I met her, she also worked a short period at Wesley Manor when I was there. She was such a sweet lady. Please except my condolences.

    Oh Ms. Norma, one of the most sweetest ladies I have ever met. We met back in the days of Mallory’s. You always had a smile on your face and had nothing but kind words to say. Lady, you are going to be missed by so many here on earth. Love and prayers to your family.

    Dear Rick, Judy, and Wanda, We were so saddened to hear about the passing of your mom. We were in New York helping out with Danny’s mom. We found out when we returned and we had missed her services. We will miss your moms visits and her coffee! Our prayers and condolences to all of you, and your families at this difficult time.

    I’m so sorry for the family’s loss. I worked with this beautiful and wonderful lady when I was 18 out at Mallory’s. She took me under her wing. I absolutely adored her. The good Lord definitely got a beautiful bright Angel to watch over and protect over her loved ones. I should say continue to do so. Again I am sorry for your loss!!
