Megan Rose Crews, 36, of Frankfort, Ind. died April 16, 2022.  She was born October 25, 1985 in Frankfort to Charles Crews & Teresa (Winchester) Akers.

Megan was a 2004 graduate of Frankfort High School and lived most of her life in Clinton County.  She had worked for the past few months at Fazoli’s in Anderson.  She was a member of the Madison Park Church of God and was baptized on November 21, 2021.  She loved reading, coloring and spending time with her family.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 12:30-3 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2022 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Akers family to assist with final expenses.

Mother & Step Father, Teresa (Tony) Akers of Frankfort, Father & Step Mother: Charles (Rebecca) Crews of Morocco, Ind., Son: Stephen Mathews at home, 2 Sisters: Jessica Crews of Frankfort, Kayla Crews of Morocco, 2 Brothers: Charles Crews II of Frankfort, Derrick Crews of Morocco, 2 Nieces: Ariel Crews of Frankfort, Arianna Crews of Frankfort, and Nephew: Leelynd Hittle of Frankfort.

    I’m so sorry for your loss. Since I was a kid Megan was a friend of mine. She will be missed. I’ll forever cherish the memories I have growing up w her, Chuckie, and Jess, my heart goes out to all the kids. I’ll be praying so hard for all of you.

    Dearest Terri & Jess and family, So many angels are singing, making way for heavens’ newest arrival. As the tears start to fade and you find your way back into the light and laughter that comes with fond memories, remember to let go of your pain. Megan knocked on the door and it opened.     I’m so very sorry, it’s so hard to lose one of your children. I saw where your daughter graduated in 2004 from Frankfort. My son Randy Niemann graduated in 2004 from Frankfort and he passed away September 13 2020. My heart goes out to you and prayers to all!!!

    My heart hurts & my mind doesn’t want to think it’s real. We became more than friends but called each other sisters. I never told you enough how much I loved you & that you were an amazing strong independent woman. I’m forever thankful & grateful for the time we did have together. But miss you more than you know! You left us way too soon! Thank you for coming into my life & making an ever lasting impression that couldn’t ever be forgotten! I love you will see you again someday, but call me selfish, you are needed here way more! None of this is fair & I may not ever understand why! Just know I love you & miss you to the moon & back all the way down the railroad tracks sis.
