Minnie Jean Brummett, 69, of Frankfort, died March 20, 2021 at I.U. North Hospital, Carmel, Ind. She was born April 1, 1951 in Indianapolis, Ind. to William & Rose (Tow) Baldwin. She married Edward M. Brummett in 1968 and he preceded her in death on July 7, 2003.
Minnie attended school in Indianapolis. She worked for the State of Indiana. She attended Frankfort Bible Holiness Church. Minnie enjoyed crocheting, Blue Grass and Country Music, crafts and pets, as she always had a little dog.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort, Ind. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, Ind. Memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia Society, 11550 N. Meridian, Suite 115, Carmel, IN 46032. Out of respect for the health, safety, and comfort of all in attendance, guests will be expected to adhere to current CDC guidelines regarding appropriate social distancing and the wearing of masks.

Son: Edward (Wendy) Brummett Jr. of Plainfield, 5 Daughters: Lorie York of Greenfield, Barbara Schenk of Indianapolis, Karen (Jason) Wilhite of Frankfort, Linda Brummett of Indianapolis, Amanda Leflore of Indianapolis, Sister: Bessie Coksey of Martinsville, 12 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 brothers, David, Charles, Donald & Darryl Baldwin and a sister, Sue Wethinton.

Sad to read of Mom’s passing. I shall remember her Beautiful Smile Mom always had for myself & others. Karen, I believe Mom knew what a Beautiful Wonderful Daughter you were to her All the time.
