Walter Ernest “Ernie” Mihay 59 of Frankfort, IN, died December 12, 2011 at his home. Born February 26, 1952 in Frankfort, IN to Walter F. & Marian M. (Myers) Mihay. Mr. Mihay was a 1970 graduate of Frankfort High School and a lifelong Frankfort resident. He retired from Frito Lay. Ernie loved music and playing the guitar.

Daughter: Crystal Mihay of Hammond, IN 3 Sisters: Linda (Deano) Snyder of Monticello, Laura (Ranny) Wright of Lafayette and Pam (Tom) Bartley of Frankfort 2 Grandchildren

Preceded by:

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David Mihay.

    To the Family of Walter Mihay,
    My name is Angela Sharp, I am a volunteer in Clinton County. I wanted to express my sincere condolences for your loss. I would like to share a comforting thought with you from the Bible.
    God promises that there will come a time right here on Earth when we won’t have to worry about death and the pain that it brings. We can see this promise at Revelation chapter 21, verse 4. There it read:
    “And God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
    I hope this scripture has brought you some comfort during this difficult time.
