Trudy K. (Barnett) Sheets, 64, of Frankfort, was called home, July 14, 2018 at I.U. Health Arnett, Lafayette, Ind. She was born June 14, 1954 in Frankfort to Ralph Barnett Jr. and Madge (Rogers) Barnett. She married Harry A. Sheets on August 29, 1996 and he survives. Trudy was a 1972 graduate of Clinton Prairie High School and 1973 graduate of Lafayette Beauty Academy. She worked at Wesley Manor as a beautician and later as shop manager for 20 years. She then changed her career to office work. Her most recent was with Ed & Melonie Stambaugh, first as office manager for their Handyman Service and then moving with them when they purchased Circle Supply as account manager there. She retired in 2016. She attended and was a long-time member of Community Christian Church. She loved flower gardening, being outside and was an excellent cook.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Community Christian Church, 1944 S. Jackson St., Frankfort. Memorial services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church with Tim Grasham officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Cancer Society or Hope in The Harvest Missions International, 352 W. Clinton St., Frankfort, IN, envelopes will be available.
Survived by:
She is survived by: 2 sons, Kent Clendenning and Brian Clendenning, 2 step-children, Travis (Gina) Sheets and Tara (Eric) Woods of Frankfort, 4 grandchildren, Kolten Clendenning and Jasmine Clendenning, who she raised in her home for 13 years, Madison Woods and Mallory Woods. Also surviving are four brothers, Butch Barnett and Gordon (Carol Jo) Barnett both of Frankfort, Steve (Linda) Barnett of Bradenton, FL and Don Barnett of San Antonio, TX, along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Donna (Barnett) Young and brother Doug Barnett.
Trudy was a great friend and classmate…we attended all 12 grades together…shared birthday parties, sleepovers and Girl Scouts. Very fond memories. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.
