It was an honor to have worked with Steve at Federal Mogul. He was one of the best Engineers I have ever worked with in my professional career. Steve was detail oriented and was always ready and all his responsibilities were in excellent shape. His family was always first for him and he was a kind man with all his peers. We are deeply sorrow for his loss and we pray for his family to find consolation. Steve is definitely with God in heaven.

My deepest sympathy to you Charlotte and for the family. I know there are no words to say to ease your pain during this time. Steve was truly a great guy, he never greeted me without a smile on his face. He was a man of his word and would always follow through with what he said. I have a lot of great memories growing up with Steve, from the days at Lincoln to good ole softball days. Hold those memories tight and cherish them, as I will. Thanks Steve for the example you set. May God hold you all in His arms and give you strength in the days to come.

I would like to express my sympathy to the entire Cunningham family. Although are paths only crossed a couple of times a year, I was always excited to talk to him. Lots of great memories of our friendship during high school, softball and just brief conversations at Walmart. Rest in peace my friend until our paths cross again.

I grew up with Steve in grade school and later in junior high and high school. It’s been many, many years since I had seen him. I echo many of the sentiments written here by others. He was the perennial good guy with an every present smile; a friend to all. The world is less without him. My condolences to the family and all of those who are heartbroken by his passing.
