Ruth G. Shore, 94, of Frankfort, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at IU Health Arnett in Lafayette, IN.  She had lived the past 7 years at Wesley Manor in Frankfort.  She was born on March 26, 1923 in Boone County, IN to Perry A. Green and Gladys Gilmore.  She married Harold W. “Bill” Shore on September 11, 1941 in Lebanon and he preceded her in death on June 25, 2004.

Ruth was a 1941 graduate of Dover High School in Boone County, IN.  She was an office worker and homemaker.  She was a member of First Christian Church in Frankfort.  She was a very caring and loving person to many.

Memorials may be made in Ruth’s honor to the Wesley Manor Good Samaritan’s Fund or the Wesley Manor Employee Appreciation Fund with envelopes available at the service.

Visitation and Services

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2017 at Wesley Manor Chapel, 1555 North Main Street, Frankfort.  Rev. Barbara Kinsler will officiate.  Friends may visit 2 hours prior to the service from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. in the Manor Chapel.    Burial will follow at Green Lawn Memorial Park.

1 Daughter:  Donna S. (Husband:  Rex) Crenshaw of Mulberry

Preceded by:

She was preceded in death by her husband.
