Russel H. “Rusty” Hubble II

Russel H. “Rusty” Hubble II 64, of Frankfort, IN,  died at 1:35 p.m. April 2, 2016 at his home.  Born April 3, 1951 in Lebanon, IN to the late Russel H. & Maxine (Miller) Hubble.  He married Patricia Schmitt and they later divorced.  Rusty grew up in Lebanon, attended Lebanon Schools and was a 1969 graduate of Ben Davis High School.  He lived most of his adult life in Frankfort.  Rusty was owner of Frankfort Printing Company for 15 years.  He enjoyed fishing, cars, knitting, sewing, embroidering, reading, made and sold fishing lures, loved the culinary arts, owned a drag racing car and a street racing car.   Rusty was a member of the Frankfort Moose Lodge #7, Lebanon Elks #635, Masonic Lodge Siloam #609 in Mechanicsburg and was a former member of the Lebanon I.O.O.F. Lodge.

Son: Russel H. “Harry” (Hope) Hubble III of Frankfort, Step Daughter: Angie (Todd) Castle of Frankfort, Sister: Madolin (Jim) Cox of Lebanon, Niece, Yetive Cox of Lebanon and 1 Great Nephew.

    Harry and Hope, so sorry to hear of your loss. Prayers for you. It hasn’t been that long since I saw your Dad driving. Believe he was at drive-up at Good To Go. He always waved and said hello.

    I will always remember the love, knowledge and respect Rusty had of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway history. We had many great conversations at the Moose pertaining to auto racing. Our thoughts and prayers for the family.
