Rodney T. Hodgen

Rodney T. Hodgen 56, of Clarks Hill, IN, died at 9:31 a.m. August 10, 2009 at Clarian Arnett Hospital, Lafayette, IN. Born June 22, 1953 in Frankfort, IN, to Jim and Laura (Bybee) Hodgen. He married Cathy Hodgen and they divorced. Mr. Hodgen was a 1971 graduate of Wainwright High School and was a lifelong Clarks Hill resident. He was an iron worker for the Local 379 for 35 years. His memberships include; Local 379 Iron Workers Union and Colfax American Legion.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

Parents: Jim & Laura Hodgen of Clarks Hill 2 Sons: Rodney Hodgen of Clarks Hill and James Robert ‘J.R.’ Hodgen of Clarks Hill 2 Daughters: Wendy (Jim) Stewart of Indianapolis and Angel (Eric) McMahel of Lafayette 2 Brothers: Frank (Patty) Hodgen of Jefferson and Jimmie Lyn Hodgen 2 Sister: Wenda Mae (Tony) Peterson of Lafayette and Rebecca Jo Hodgen of Lafayette 6 Grandchildren

    I went to school with Rodney, and remember that he had a kind soul. One of the things I remember is him giving me his school picture when I had none to give back. I’m very sorry to see that he passed on and wish that memories of him will comfort his family.
