Dick had the best smile. I don’t know that I ever saw him when he didn’t have a quick smile. Rascal is a good description as there was a lot of crazy times when we were in high school and Dick was usually in the mix. Thoughts and prayers for the entire family.

Very sorry to hear of Dick’s passing. Sending prayers to his children and other family. He was quite a charmer with always a smile and the look of some mischief in those eyes! We socialized years ago when he lived in Shawano WI. I am sure Dick is having a “good old time” with my ex-huband, Rick, who recently died unexpectedly as well. Both gone way too soon and missed by many!

I send my condolences and prayers to family. Upon my arrival at Frankfort High School as a sophomore in the fall of 1966, knowing no one, Dick graciously introduced himself at the first away football match. He was thoughtful, kind, humorous and sensitive to others, always displaying that great smile. Over the years I have thought of him often and still today am thankful for his kindness and friendship. What a great guy! Always remembered!

Here it is two years later and the thought of Richard still brings a smile to my face! He always had great stories and fun. Unable to go to the services, thought his family would like to know that he is still fondly remembered!

Dick was my first childhood best friend. My parents and his were friends and we lived on opposite sides of Dorner Park. We went to St. Mary’s school together for 1st, 2nd and third grade, when my family moved to Des Moines. Considering our age, we got into a fair amount of trouble. It’s amazing how much freedom we had to drive our bikes around town at that young age. I think of Dick often.
