Rev. Wilbur C. Bailey 75 of Frankfort, IN, died at 8:05 p.m. February 10, 2010 at Clinton House Health and Rehabilitation Center, following a lengthy illness. Born July 11, 1934 in Louisville, KY to Raymond & Alene (Harrington) Bailey. He married Sarah “Sue” Smith on October 8, 1954 and she survives. Rev. Bailey attended of God’s Bible School in Cincinnati, OH. He pastored in Paoli, IN, Nashville, TN and in Southern Indiana. He also worked at the Paoli Chair Factory. He was a member of the Bible Holiness Church in Frankfort and International Conservative Holiness Association. Rev. Bailey built and remodeled churches. He served in the Air National Guard of Kentucky.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, February 15, 2010 at Bible Holiness Church, 1947 W. Barner St., Frankfort. Pastor Travis Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday, February 14, 2010 from 3-7 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the Church. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Frankfort Bible Holiness Church, envelopes will be available.

Wife: Sarah “Sue” Bailey of Frankfort Daughter: Marsena Bailey of Logansport 2 Daughters-in-law: Cheryl Bailey of Frankfort and Peggy Bailey of Noblesville Sister: Frances Quiggens of Louisville, KY 5 Grandchildren: Jonathan Bailey, Susan Bailey, Jennifer (Wesley) Grissom, Deborah Bailey and Rachel Bailey 3 Great Grandchildren: Madison Bailey, Dakota Bailey and Arilynn Grissom

Preceded in death by sons, Dale Bailey in 2007, Mark Bailey in 2005 and 3 brothers.
