Penny Lou Grissom

Penny Lou Grissom, 62, longtime Frankfort resident, died at 4:27 p.m. May 29, 2019 at her home in Avon, Ind.  She was born August 28, 1956 in Frankfort, Ind. to Gilbert Max & Carolyn Jean (Baker) Donoho.  She married James R. Grissom Jr. on April 19, 1986 in Jefferson and he survives.

Penny was a 1974 graduate of Frankfort High School.  She lived in Frankfort for 53 years before moving to Avon.  Penny was an operator at Frito Lay, retiring after 32 years.  She loved her Samoyed dogs, Dakota, Duke and Dillon.

Visitation and Services

Funeral celebration will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2019 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Y-Not-Save-A-Sam, 333 W. CR 100 N, Logan, Utah 84321.

Father & Step Mother: Max & Mildred Donoho, Husband: James R. Grissom Jr. of Avon, 2 Sons: James L. Grissom of Lafayette, Curt T. Marsh of Lebanon, Sister: Sheryl (Luther) Stubbs of Summerton, SC, 6 Grandchildren: Bella, Joey, Sophie, Charleigh, Jameson and Jase.

Preceded by:

her mother, Jean Donoho.

It was evident your husband adored you, Your furry ones will be well cared for by Jim. Dont worry about them. They will be ok.
