Patricia Jean Cook

Patricia Jean Cook 76, a former Frankfort resident, died August 14, 216 in Simi Valley, California.  Born July 13, 1940 in Indianapolis, Ind., the daughter of Russell & Hazel (Stafford) McKinney.  She married Robert E. Cook, DVM on June 21, 1959 in Frankfort. Pat was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Thousand Oaks, California.  She was active in Wednesday “Lunch Bunch” and Thursday Bible Study.  Pat loved painting and many of her pieces are displayed in the homes of her family.  She cherished the time spent with her grandson, teaching him the family recipes, especially her beloved homemade noodles. Pat will be remembered for her love, laughter and compassion toward others.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Kelly Kurth will officiate the service. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery.

Survived by:

Pat is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, and sons, Bret (Alice) Cook of Moorpark, California, and Todd (Doris) Cook of Simi Valley, California, Pat was affectionately known as Amma to her grandson, Stafford Cook of San Luis Obispo, California. In addition, Pat is survived by Stafford’s mother Kyle Cook of San Luis Obispo, California, her sister, Pamela (Dan) Robertson of Frankfort, her niece Kelly (Adam) Myers and their son Mathew of Lafayette, Ind., and her nephew Craig (Amanda) Robertson of Lafayette, Ind.
