Maude (Cottrell) Wolfe

Maude (Cottrell) Wolfe, 84, of Frankfort, passed away with her children by her bedside on December 30, 2018. She was born June 20, 1934 in Rose Hill, Virginia to James & Mary (Stanford) Cottrell.  She married Joe Wolfe in 1952 in Tazewell, Tenn. And he preceded her in death on September 11, 2008.

Maude attended school in Rose Hill, Virginia.  She lived there until 1955 when she moved to Frankfort.  She was a homemaker.  Maude was a member of the Frankfort Bible Holiness Church and devoted her life to her family.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 11 a.m. -1 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral Service will begin at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to Clinton County Cancer Fund.

3 Sons: Palmer Ray Wolfe of Frankfort, Ron (Pam) Wolfe of Frankfort, Ralph (Teresa) Wolfe of Lafayette, 4 Daughters: Brenda Wolfe of Frankfort, Connie (Mark) Anderson of Fishers, Lisa (Mike) Strong of Lafayette, Tammy (Mark) Snodgrass of Mulberry, Brother: Robert Cottrell of Cumberland Gap, Tenn., 8 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 3 sisters.

    So sorry that she is gone. I loved her very much. I was terrible sick and could not attend her service. I know how hard it is to lose you parents and I will always pray for you. Love to you all.
