Mary J. “MJ” Crews 72 of Frankfort, IN, passed away at 3:43 p.m. March 21, 2012 at Clinton House Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born January 8, 1940 in Radnor, Indiana to the late Rae & Mary E. (Hiner) Smith. She married Ernest Earl Crews in Frankfort in 1976 and he preceded her in death on February 11, 1997. Mrs. Crews was a Rossville High School graduate. She had worked at Federal Mogul since 1975.

Visitation and Services

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 12 Noon prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park.

Survived by:

1 Sister: Alberta Marsh of Rural Lafayette 4 nephews and 1 niece also survive.

Preceded by:

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters.

    I worked with Jan at Mogul and I was lucky to know her…she was always so generous with me…she was my secret pal one year, and when the other girls saw what Jan gave me…they all wanted her to be their secret pal the next year…she was a gem and and if she liked you she would go to the ends of the earth for you…I’m so sorry for your loss..I will always think of her with fondly.
