Marianne’s family, so sorry to hear of the passing of this wonderful lady. She was such a beautiful soul. I was in Redhats, Gold Ladies, and she went to my church, Nazarene. Had so many good times with her. She will be greatly missed but happy that now she is at peace with our Heavenly Father and Jack.

I remember the first time I met Marianne. I was in elementary school, around 5th or 6th grade. I was playing the piano in a talent show that the school put on and I even remember the song I played: One Tin Soldier. After the show, Marianne came to me, introduced herself and told me she enjoyed listening to me play. She told me she was “Denise’s mom”. Our paths have crossed several times since that night 45 years ago and when I saw her just a few weeks ago she was still the sweet “Denise’s mom” I remembered. Classy lady. Lay your armor down now, Marianne—you’ve won.

Blessings on the family over the next few difficult days. To Denise, Nancy, Alan and Angela, I wish you peace.

My prayers are with the family. I grew up and went to school with Alan who has a heart of gold like his mother. A lot of neighborhood baseball games at Greenlawn and Gossett roads and playing at each other’s house. Marianne was always so nice and supportive.

To the family of Marianne, May I extend my sincere sympathy in your loss. I first met Marianne at the Clinton House, where I had a dear Aunt, and Marianne and group would come in to help/entertain the residents. She was always so kind and patient with each person she came in contact with. Also, would see she and Jack at the Sugar Creek Alumni Banquets. God Bless all of you.
