Aunt Mabel, you will be missed. I can remember so many fun stories with you and the times we shared. I got my crafting love and baking from you. You were one of a kind and no one ever had to guess where you stood on a subject. Give dad a kiss up there when you see him.

Love you. Our prayers to my cousins. Love you all.

    Janet

My best memory of Mable was when I took her and Aunt Cora to Michigan to visit my Dad and Mom (Paul & Kay Dickerson). We were at the campground fishing. We were on dad’s boat and Mable cast her line out in the water. The only thing was it didn’t go in the water. It hit my husband in the eye. Mable was so quiet until she found out that Rick was alright. When Rick got the hook out of his eyebrow she looked at me and said “I caught me a man”. I thought we were all going to die laughing!! She had the best since of humor and I loved being around her and Aunt Cora. I am really going to miss her.
Rest In Peace Mable. You have truly been a blessing.

We wanted to share our condolences with Mabel’s family. It is never easy to have to say goodbye to a loved one. The pain of loss can be unbearable. Our Creator promises us that one day this pain will be just a memory. That beautiful promise can be found at Revelation 21:3,4. Our pain and suffering will be a thing of the past, and we can cry tears of joy as we welcome back the ones that we love so much. We hope you find comfort in those promises.

My sincere sympathy in the loss of your loved one. Mable was a neighbor to my mother for years and spent many evenings swinging on the front porch with her. She was a caring neighbor and shared veggies from her garden. May memories give you peace and comfort.

    Nancy Clossin and family.

David and I are very thankful for our time with Mabel. She taught me many good things about faith, cooking, fishing, and simply enjoying this moment in my time of living. I was sorry to not attend, but Friday late morning I was in Lafayette WalMart buying ingredients for her fruit cake recipe when my mother called to tell me she had just read her obituary in the paper. So I went home and made the cakes and reflected on my precious memories of our dear Mabel. The cakes will not compare with hers, because I couldn’t find apricot brandy!
May our Lord bless and keep each of you.
