Louise Slipher

Louise Slipher 84, of Frankfort, IN, died at 8:25 p.m. October 24, 2013 at Mulberry Health and Retirement Community. Born May 13, 1929 in Frankfort to the late Walter & Hattie (Gilbert) Edmonds.
She married Medford C. Shives and he preceded her in death in 1975. She then married Finton Slipher in 1990 and he survives. Louise was a 1947 graduate of Frankfort High School. She worked for Stuart & Branigin Law Office, Lafayette, IN, as a secretary and in real estate for Village Square Realty in Frankfort. She was a member of the First Nazarene Church and also attended Bible Holiness Church.

Visitation and Services

Friends may visit on Monday, October 28, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. at the Goodwin Funeral Home, Frankfort with the services there on Tuesday, October 29th at 1:30 p.m. Mark Mowery and Gregg Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice.

Survived by:

Husband: Finton Slipher, 2 Sisters: Nadine (husband Kenneth) Beard and Phyllis Amich both of Frankfort, 1 Brother: Don Edmonds of Kokomo, 1 Step-Son: Greg Slipher of Thorntown, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded by:

A sister, Mary Thompson and a brother Lewis Edmonds.
