Leona Bray  90 Former Clinton County resident passed away on July 13, 2011 in Ft. Smith, AR.  She was born December 2, 1920 in Tazewell, TN to Sherman & Mossie (Williams) Smith.   She married Leo Bray on July 31, 1939 and he passed away on June 15, 1984. Mrs. Bray was a homemaker and also worked at Del Monte and Mann’s Turkey Farm in Frankfort.  She had lived the past 4 years in Arkansas.  She attended school in Tazewell and had formerly attended the  Michigantown Wesleyan Church.  She provided in home healthcare, volunteered with her Granddaughters Girl Scout Group and was loved by the entire family.  

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2011 at the Goodwin Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery-Tazewell, TN

Survived by:

3 Daughters:  Barbara (William) Shelley of Arkansas, Brenda (Mark) Bray-Johannsen of Dayton, IN & Belinda (Robert) Bray Miller of Frankfort, IN 5 Sons:  Larry (Denise) Bray and Garry (Dawn) Bray both of Frankfort, IN, Ronnie Bray of Scirleville, IN, Bobby (Donna) Bray of Kirklin, IN & Wayne (Pam) Bray of Hillisburg, IN 2 Brothers:  Kenny Smith of Florida & Calvin Leo Smith of Elizaville, IN 3 Sisters:  Bobbie Lou Warfield, Pauline Ross & Betty Sue VanDyke all of Florida Daughter in Law:  Deloris Bray of Scircleville, IN Son in Law:  Robert Chester of Hillisburg, IN 30 Grandchildren and several Great and Great Great Grandchildren survive.

Preceded by:

Preceded in death by a Daughter Bonnie and a Son Ferris.  1 Sister and 3 Brothers.
